UEFA Europa League group stage

Feyenoord draws two of the biggest tickets they could have, while the stadium will only be half full. I feel bad for them.
Southampton should fancy their chances of qualifying in that group but Inter will both be tough and awesome for their fans to watch (especially the ones who go to the San siro).

AZ and Ajax should do well. Knowing Dutch football, they probably won't.
AZ probably will. They tend to do better against faraway teams than other Dutch teams.
And in a way Ajax's group is good for us cause they're well known clubs in (mostly) close by countries. I also don't feel like they're the most 'cynical' teams so hopefully we get open matches which is better for Ajax.

UEFA Europa League group stage

Group A: Manchester United, Fenerbahce, Feyenoord, Zorya Luhansk

Group B: Olympiacos, Apoel Nicosia, Young Boys, Astana

Group C: Anderlecht, St Etienne, Mainz, Qabala

Group D: Zenit, AZ Alkmaar, Maccabi Tel Aviv, Dundalk

Group E: Viktoria Plzen, Roma, Austria Vienna…

Responsible gambling as a form of entertainment is not evil

A wife leaves her husband. He gets depressed and stops going to work. He loses his job. Then one day he drinks a bottle of whiskey, puts a gun to his head and ends it all. Who is to blame? The wife for leaving him? The boss for firing him? The liquor store salesperson for selling him the alcohol? The gun shop owner for selling him the gun? My point is that there has to come a point in time when we must take responsibility for our own actions. Responsible gambling as a form of entertainment is not evil. Drinking alcohol is not evil. Neither is owning a gun.

It's how people use these things that makes the actions of these people good or bad, responsible or irresponsible. A gambler who has a problem needs to seek help or self-exclude himself/herself from the gambling establishments. It's not realistic to expect all the online and offline casinos to close down because someone has a gambling problem. Or all the liquor stores to shut down because someone has a drinking problem.

Arsenal 'ready' to spend money in transfer market

Arsene Wenger: Arsenal 'ready' to spend money in transfer market.

"I can reassure people we're ready to spend the money we have," Wenger said.
"It's important to spend money but more important to spend it the right way. There are two markets, one for English clubs, one for the rest of Europe."

"It is dangerous. English clubs suffocate themselves by buying players at a high price with high wages, if it goes wrong you are left with players with high wages," he said.
"The identity of the buyer multiplies transfers by two or three or even 10 times more."

Jamaica's Usain Bolt wins 3rd 100m Olympic title
Usain Bolt retained his title as the "world's fastest man," accelerating past all challengers to win the men's 100 meters for an unprecedented third time on Sunday night in Rio.
In trademark fashion, Bolt unpacked his lanky 6-foot-5 frame and separated himself from the tightly bunched field to win by a comfortable margin in a time of 9.81. His closest competitor, Justin Gatlin, hung with Bolt for the first half of the race, but couldn't match Bolt down the stretch. Gatlin took the silver in 9.89.
